Command "W" in Dorico... non existent

Command “W” is standard across the whole Mac OS X platform to close a window, and then you’re asked “Do you want to Save”… etc. I really wish Dorico had this feature… instead of mousing up to click the red dot upper left.

Comand + W does close the tab, which is consistent with many macOS apps that make use of tabs. To close the project, you must type Command + Shift + W. Alternatively, you can change the command yourself in the Key Commands section of the preferences to suit your taste.
For the record: Pro Tools (and I believe other DAWs like REAPER) follow this convention, where Command + W close the window / tab but leave the project open.

Dorico adds shift to the standard cmd/alt + W in order to make accidental (pardon the pun…or laugh heartily!) closure less likely.
