Comment on barline silently lost

Just noticed this, FYI -

  • Select a barline
  • Alt-C for a comment - type some text
  • Hit OK
  • Comment isn’t saved and text is lost

Obviously comments aren’t meant for barlines but might be a rough way for somebody to discover that.

Indeed, comments cannot at present be attached to global or system-attached items: they can only be attached to material that belongs to a specific instrument. This has been raised before and we will at some stage come up with a way to handle this, but I’m not sure when that will be.
