Compensating for slow/fast tape speed after transfer to C6

Hi everyone, I’m in the middle of a project where I’m transferring 4 track tapes to Cubase6 and I don’t have access to the original 4 track tape machine. I dug my Teac 3340s reel to reel out of the closet, serviced it with new belts and oil and transferred the tapes into Cubase. The problem is that the Teac is just a little bit, maybe 2 steps/whole tones, faster than the machine that did the original recording. Also, the original tapes are falling apart and I would lose a lot of the fidelity if I had to transfer them again. They are from 1987. I need a way to slow all 4 of the the digital tracks down throughout an entire 8 - 10 minute song. I did a search and saw some posts on the pitch shift and elastique features, but I’d like to know if anyone else has had this type of issue and how they resolved it. Any help is greatly apreciated.
