Dorico 5 Mac. I posted about this before but none of the answers helped so I want to try 1 more time. Essentially playback for full orchestral scores is useless for me. The music plays completely out of sync with the accompaniment ludicrously behind the melody and all rhythms completely uncoordinated. The effect is exactly like your worst nightmare of a bad orchestra rehearsal with a bad orchestra. Is there some setting I am missing? I am simply using Dorico’s default settings and default playback. Is there something I’m missing?
Please giver enough detail for people to help.
Are you using NotePerformer, or something else? What VST libraries? What USB audio device?
Can you upload a small file that demonstrates the issue, so that others can try it? You’re new to the forum, so you probably can’t upload directly here, but you could upload to Dropbox or something similar and post a link.

What model of Mac? How much RAM?
When you say “melody and accompaniment” – are these particular instruments?
It’s very unusual for different instruments to be out of sync with each other, particularly if you are just using the HALion sounds that come with Dorico.
Anyway: the more information you can give us (including project files that exhibit the problem), the better.
