from your screenshot it seems that the text frame that contains your composer and arranger tokens needs some more heights. Probably you edited the font size directly into the layout, so there is a discrepancy on the tokens needed space and the actual space needed by the arranger text.
You can adjust the frame heights, editing that frame in the First page template (dragging its lower edge a little down. Possibly you need to adjust the heights of the blue music frame as well to accommodate )

thanks for the reply. I’ve tried extending those borders up and down but I’ve got the same result unfortunately.

This is probably caused by the fact that you previously edited things directly in the music area (instead of editing the corresponding Page Template), so creating a page override. Pages with page overrides don’t use/follow anymore any Page Template, so even after editing your page template, that page doesn’t use it.
To correct this go in Engrave mode, and from the upper right panel (Pages), see if you have a red triangle on that page. With a right click you can then choose Remove All Page Overrides. That page should now use your Page Template (the Firs page template in your case), and should display your changes correctly.
