compress and scale midi data in the keyboard editor

Hello,hope your all having a good weekend :smiley:

So recently on my voyage of discoveries. :smiley:

I have found that when I use the key editor,and highlight the notes in the Velocity lane,I can do compression and scale ratios and tilt the velocities,left and right Great stuff, :smiley:

I have a couple of questions that you may be able to help me with

  1. Is the scale ratio and compression, similar to whats in the Midi modifiers?
  2. How does this affect the velocity/dynamics?

Not seen this feature in my other Daws,I have used before :smiley:

Help is always appreciated. Might even try out a test to see what affect it has on drums,or something :smiley:
