I don’t know if this is the case with all midi controllers, but I use a Personus Faderport 8 in midi mode when I create material in Studio One (Pro) and it works just fine. However, when I use it in Dorico, while the Retrospective record does just fine with a given VST instrument or group of instruments, I get zilch response when it comes to “following” my expression and dynamics activity…and consequently I have to go back and do that by hand via the mouse. If it is just a Faderport issue, can you recommend a midi controller that would remedy this situation? (Such as Lujin by Midifex or another similar device.). Explain. Thanks.
