I have switched on condensing. The first measure is played by two trumpets and two trombones. For trombones I see one a2 at the beginning which is what I expect whereas for trumpets a2 is shown after each rest in the measure. Which setting am I using incorrectly or is this a bug in condensing?
What are those marks above the uncompressed Trp 1 part?
What happens in the measure before the ones shown?
The marks above come from another instrument - my apology for the screenshot in write mode.
I extended the screenshots.
Switch Condensing Change signposts on. Do you see any in this part of the project?
Condensing change signposts are switched on, but none is shown. Only signpost shown is for key D major.
Here is the file with the issue, I reduced it to the relevant part.
Condensing.dorico (3.5 MB)
It’s the chord in the last note of the trumpet passage. Put a Condensing Change on that last concert-D chord. No need to change any settings, just tick the Trumpets. This creates a new phrase so that it isn’t considered as part of the previous phrase and is condensed differently.
Thanks, @Craig_F , that solved the issue
