condensing bug in 6/4 time

In this example, Why does Dorico insert all those extra rests in m. 16, for oboe 2? If I delete the music in m. 1-3 it behaves correctly.

You mean measure 13. The divide only happens on the second crotchet/quarter of the bar (as the first rest is essentially unison). Dorico doesn’t yet know how to combine all of those rests, some unison and some divided, into one rest.

Yes m. 13, sorry. But why does it condense correctly if the preceding music is deleted? (see attached JPEG)

Because in that instance, the 2nd oboe’s “voice” hasn’t started.

Anyway, clearly something that needs fixing.
