Hello. I’m using 3 clarinet parts in a piece for chorus and large band where I’m trying to save as much vertical space as possible. The Dorico condensing feature has already decided to condense the three parts onto 1 line, which is fine; the clarinets all share the same rhythm. When the parts are in octaves, I want the 1st clarinet to be on the top octave, and the bottomo octave assigned to the 2nd and 3rd clarinets in unison. Dorico gets that far just fine, but on the score, it indicates that the top octave is doubled in the 1st and 2nd clarinets, but the bottom octave is assigned only to the 3rd clarinet. It’s not a huge deal, because the parts are correct, but the score does mis-lead the conductor.
