Condensing choral player not recognized

Hi! I am working with an SAB score, trying to use the condense feature in Layout Options to put Soprano and Alto singers on the same stave. When I enable condensing:

-the soprano and bass players appear in the Groups box, but alto does not.
-When I try to add a custom condensing group and select sop/alto, the “ok” is greyed out but it works for other combos.

I created a new template SAB score, and the alto appears. So, I think I’ve got something set wrong in my score.

Here is a screen shot of the missing alto, and I’ve uploaded a version of my score. Thanks for any help!

Might be that the alto is a single player, but the soprano and bass are section players. You could try to create a new section player (empty handed, cancel before picking an instrument) and drag the alto to the new player.

Thanks jesele! That worked perfectly and quickly. For anyone else who reads this post, “drag the alto to the new player” meant opening the Alto player toggle and dragging the inner Alto box to the empty-handed player.
