I’ll try to explain this condensing issue so it makes sense.
The first screen shot displays the condensed (page view) score. Look at the French Horn part. Only the 2nd Horns are playing here in ms. 67 and 68 and there is no hairpin. In the 2nd screen shot I am now in Galley Mode and you can see the 1st Horns are resting and the 2nd Horns are playing and the hairpin is there (second staff from top is 1st Horns and 3rd visible staff is 2nd Horns). Is there a way to get the hairpin to show up in page view in the 2nd Horns even though the 1st Horns are resting?

O.K. Never mind. I found that if I do a condensing change reset in the two measures that the hairpin appears and places rest above representing the first Horn parts rests.
