Working in Dorico 4 Pro, I’ve written a jazz chart for 3 woodwind doublers and two trumpets also holding flugelhorns. After condensing there are four pages in my score where those doublers second instrument staves are seen even thought they have no notes in them. I want my score to appear just as the doubler’s parts appear, never showing two staves. I’ve attached the score here. The pages I’m talking about are 6, 13, 20 and 24. I downloaded the free trial of Dorico Pro 6 thinking the latest version would address this problem, but if it does, I can’t seem to find out how. My question is whether that making the score behave exactly as the parts so when it comes to doublers.
