Condensing fun

I think this was a bad idea

[Note: this isn’t an issue. Just a random post. My apologies if this isn’t appropriate.]

As ever, we really need to inspect the whole document to see what’s going on.

I’m not convinced that Dorico would automatically condense Violin 1 with a Cello and Violin 2 with Violas unless you explicitly told it to do so. I suspect that some of the other grouping are also not by default.

It may be better to turn off empty staff hiding, at least for the first system.

I believe this is just a “how to make Dorico do stupid things” exercise.

I originally meant to create a new layout and zoom out on a score I am composing for NYCC. But then I realized how bad of an idea it was to create a condensing group for xylophone, timpani, and glockenspiel. Too many ledger linesssss
