I just want to report that Dorico 3.1 seems to “lose” multirests in the lower voice, when it condenses. Multirests in the upper voice work ok. See this simple example (happy to provide a file, but I think it’s obvious).
Don’t you mean bar repeats instead of multirests?

That’s correct. The assumption is that you would only be condensing music in which the instruments have consistent bar repeats, so we simply take the bar repeats from the first player in the group. The same is true for slash regions.
