Connect AT2020 Condenser Mic to Steinberg UR44

I have a Audio-Technica AT2020 Condenser Mic that has a USB Cable output socket for sound and came with a USB Cable to USB A cable for plugging into my computer. This works, but how to I connect this plug to my combo input in the UR44?

I connected the USB A plug to a female-to-female adaptor, then connected that to a USB A to quarter inch cable and plugged it into the UR44. I turned on the phantom power, but the mic did not light up. Seems like the phantom power did not get back to the mic.

USB microphones cannot be connected to a sound card. They function as a sound card themselves. So, you have two options: 1. use your USB mic and UR44 as two audio interfaces simultaneously, or 2. get a standard XLR mic that will be connected to your UR44.
