Basically, it connects the sends automatically if you set that preference.

Sorry being really stupid here.
Ive always been disturbed when in solo mode, the fx doesnt hook up immidiately with channel send.
is this finally the fix?
This has nothing to do with solo mode… it does is exactly what it says.
When you create a new audio or instrument channel, all the FX channels in your project are inserted on the sends of this channel ready to be activated.
