Connecting an external sequencer

Hi, I’m hoping somebody could explain or point me to somewhere that already explains this:
I have songs on my Korg Trinity’s sequencer that I’d like to send to VST instruments (rather than use the Trinity’s sounds) in Cubase through a UR242 .
I’ve made a tempo map in a project in Cubase, so now I want Cubase to control my Trinity’s sequencer and to receive the data from the Trinity. I’ve got MIDI in and out connected on both.

What do I need to do next to set this up?

By the way, I’m using the Cubase LE AI Elements 8 64bit that came with the UR242, so I wasn’t sure which board to post this to - the Elements 8 board or the LE and AI board!

I’ve got the MIDI working for Cubase to control Trinity, but I haven’t been able to get Cubase to receive data to send to a VST instrument.

Are you sure you’vegot the Trinity set up to transmit sequencer data via MIDI?

Thanks Reymöbius, I’ve just found the track MIDI status on the sequencer and changed it!
