A question to the experts - how to connect the Roland XP-50 to Cubase Pro 11 to record native Roland sounds into the project (not to use it as a MIDI keyboard)

Hi,

Connect MIDI (USB) to be able to transfer MIDI data from/to Roland to/from Cubase. Then connect Roland’s Line Out to Line In of your Audio Device. In Cubase add Audio track and select Link In input. Now you can record audio.

Thanks, I’ll try your advice. And on Roland, you don’t need to disable or enable (Local Of \ On)?

If you are going to use Roland as a Master Keyboard, yes, set the Local Control to Off, please.
