connecting from Firebox to Cuebase 6

I cannot figure out how to make the connection from my Presonis Firebox (inputs on back of box) to a cuebase channel. Is it creating a “bus”?

I am going from a guitar to a pre-amp, the pre-amp goes into the Firebox in #3.

Where do I find that channel and activate it in cuebase?

Don’t know anything about Presonus Firebox, but try these steps:

  1. Setup your device as a VST Audio System under Devices → Device Setup and Devices?
  2. Setup busses (Inputs and/or Outputs) in Devices → VST Connections?
  3. Create Audio Track.
  4. Set the Input Routing on track to a bus created in step 2.
  5. Set the Output Routing on track to a bus created in step 2.
  6. Play the guitar… on the MTV! :wink:

Also, post in Cubase forum next time. (Unless you are unable to do so, of course.)
