Connecting headphones to cubase

hi i have connected my headphones to cubase. i use focusrite interface but only hear things coming out of the left ear

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Have you correctly set up your audiointerface ASIO driver) and assigned a Stereo Out with both channels (left/right) pointing at your audiointerface ( F4 > Outputs)?
Which Cubase 15 version do you use? If it’s Pro, do you use the Control Room?
Does it happen on all tracks?
Can you describe on which tracks it happens and how the outputs are routed (click on the e in the channel and have a look at the top)?

It could also be that the headphones (@Rabeca are they Bluetooth?) are configured as the Cubase audio interface instead of the Focusrite.

i am new using cubase so i dont really know how to do much but i know that it happens because i added a spliter. when i only have one headphone pluged in it doesnt happen.

Hi,
looks all good to me. And as you said yourself, the splitter doesn’t work. I guess you got an adapter that splits the stereo signal into left and right mono signals.
You need a y-splitter: 6,5mm male stereo jack to two stereo jacks female (6,5 or 3.5mm depending on your headphones).

If you are new to Cubase: there are plenty of free and good YT tutorials out there (for example Chris Selim Mixdown Online). It will get much easier over time and it’s a lot of fun!

hi it dosnt give me the option of contol room

That’s because you’re using Artist. The Control Room is only available in Pro.
