I purchased a while ago Steinberg UR22C audio interface. There seems to be some kind of problem with it and Cubase 14. When I’m starting Cubase, it often crashes immediately. If I tried to open when I connect With UR22C, always freezing and crash. I updated to new drive system, but this have same issue.

the UR22C usually runs smooth with C14.
What OS do you use?
Regarding the UR22C: Have you downloaded the latest firmware and updated the driver afterwards?
This might be the culprit.
I’m using OS15. I never tried Firmware but maybe I should. but I don’t understand this happen with Cubase.
I guess those Firmware is for old MO version.
No, the firmware update of your UR sounds like a big deal when actually it is a piece of cake. And it has nothing to do with your OS… You must install the latest firmware first in order to run the latest driver afterwards.
Please go to the website from above, scroll down to firmware and save it on your computer. Now, you just need to click on the installer while the UR is plugged in, wait for 20-30 seconds (please do not pull the plug during the update) and it is done. Now you can download and install the latest driver and maybe your issues are all solved.
