Lately I find I go into the play tab / key editor and do automation so frequently that I have wanted to add a second side monitor to my setup. However outside of Dorico I won’t have so much need for this, so before making such a purchase I wanted to ask does it even work, to break out panels? So that I can have let’s say Write tab on my main monitor, Play tab on my second monitor. It seems to me that the Dorico UI is fixed into panels which cannot be undocked…?

You can certainly have multiple windows open, each displaying a different mode, across multiple displays.

Yes, its working. You may use second monitor (or third). I have expierence in this moment in different variations. You may use on a second monitor mixer or any window for contol process which you need. It’s very comfortable. Good luck!

Ok great, thank you both – would hate to have spent the money and find out afterwards it’s not possible.
I look forward to also being able more easily access the mixer and open plugin windows
Cheers!
