I continue to be amazed by the generosity of people on this forum, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support so freely given. I probably read around 80% of the posts and learn a tremendous amount, but remembering all the details is where I tend to come unstuck.
I do wonder why the default setting was changed in the Scoring Express template. Perhaps someone can explain the reasoning, as there may well be advantages to using a smaller value that won’t become apparent until I experiment with different settings. Although it’s easy enough to revert to a different value, I’m a little hesitant given that my current project already contains well over 100,000 notes.
You have a keener eye than I do, but now that you’ve pointed out that slurs from grace notes to main notes of the same pitch aren’t horizontal, I can’t help but keep noticing it. Let’s hope this aspect of the functionality receives a modest refinement in a future version.
