Console 1 Fader Mk III Direct DAW Control capability needed for Nuendo (not the same as Cubase!)

Hi Rodney!!!

Many thanks for your quick response and for having time to help me. I appreciate it
I suppose that if it works with audio and groups, it will work with instrument tracks, but it would be great if you test it as you have said (don’t feel obligated).

All the Best!!!

Hey Ivan, both Instrument and MIDI tracks show up on the Console 1 Fader Mk III - I made a short video showing me switching channels from Group to Instrument to MIDI tracks, with the controller following along. The unit’s faders / channels popped to life once I added them to my project. Hope this helps!

Many Many thanks Rodney!!!

Good News for me.
This is the confirmation I needed to decide to buy it.

Many thanks for your time and kindness!!

Two questions for anybody that has the Fader MK3:

  • It seems I cannot control VCA tracks in Cubase 14 with my Console 1 MK3. Is that the case with the Fader too? The tracks show up in the OSD, but changing the DAW volume from C1 doesn’t change the value in Cubase.
  • If I used a Stereo Combined Panner, is there a way for the pan knob to work properly? Currently, it only lets me shift the left channel all the way to the right, but not vice versa.

Using a C1 Channel MKIII here and I can control VCA tracks in Nuendo 14.0.32.
