Hi. I am consistently getting audio peaks with Nuendo 12. I have tried using minimal plugins; around 5 and I still get the occasional peaking in the audio performance meter. My computer is a 2018 Mac mini 3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 with 64 GB of Ram. I have viewed numerous videos and read forums on this topic and I haven’t found a solution. My audio interface is a UAD Apollo twin and I am running it in tandem a UAD Quad satellite. I have tried changes to the ASIO settings etc with no avail. I did reinstall of Nuendo 12, latest update and I am still getting peaks. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Try disconnecting the Apollo and the Satellite. Try using the internal sound driver only.
Do the performance peaks go away? It might be their drivers.
Which operating system are you on? Which plugins make the CPU spike?
Sorry for the delay in responding to you. Too busy with stuff to go onto the forum. East West Opus seems to be the culprit for audio glitches even when using VEP7. Multiple instances of Kontakt have now been remedied with VEP7. Let me know if you are getting the same results. Glitches are happening both on Rack instruments and instrument tracks.
