Constant Crashes- Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

Bump: It must be something to do with starting the project in 8 Pro, using 6.07 for awhile (I wanted to see if I liked 6.07 better after using 8 Pro for awhile) and then going back to 8 Pro. All my 8 Pro projects that I started in 8 Pro are working fine. All my 6.07 projects that I am now using in 8 pro are working fine. It’s just this one project, which happens to be one that I need to work on right now.

Bump to add that Cubase crashes every time I hit save. So, I can’t even work a little and save. What a effing clusterfuck.

Jeff Deno is helping me, but I’m trying to get some work done so I thought I’d try here as well.

Cubase 8 crashes every 15 minutes. To compensate for this I tried to to save every thing I do, but it crashes when I hit “save”.

Here’s what’s different about this session:

  1. I started it in Cubase 8 Pro then used in in 6.07 then back in 8 Pro
  2. I am using Retrologue for the first time.
  3. I am using Sound Toys demo for the first time.

Jeff suggested I trash preferences, but that didn’t work.

I disabled Retrologue, but that didn’t work.

I could uninstall Sound Toys, but has anybody else had Sound Toys making Windows crash Cubase 8 Pro?

Hi I have the same problem.
very similar configuration…
Cubase seems to crash after the autosave.
Any help?

Wish I could help, but can’t. I ended up redoing the song in 8. I’m having lots of compatibility issues between 6.07 and 8.
