Hi,
Wondering if a similar notation is achievable in Dorico:
I am having referring to having repeat barlines on just one staff rather than both. The stemless notes are easy and I already know how to achieve that.
Thanks!
Yes, but you need to have local/independent time signatures first. Created with opt/alt-key held down when confirming the dialog.

Thanks!
The problem is I want a set time signature in the right hand and an open one on the left hand. But if I do that the repetition signs are kept for both.
Confirm the barline/repeat dialog the same way with alt/opt
Jesper
In note input mode, Shift-B “:|” alt/opt+enter
Yes, you first have to have local time signatures even if they are the same.

Thanks so much, I will look into it properly soon, that seems to be the solution.
I always input repeat signs manually from the right hand panel, hence why I couldn’t understand your suggestion in the first place.
You can do that too, but while holding down the alt/opt key.
Jesper
BRILLIANT! Thanks so much! I was not aware of that
But you still need the local/independent time signatures first.
Jesper
Dear Jesper,
For some reason I am missing something and can’t reproduce what you did in your project.
Can you, if you have time, help me get my head around it?
Thanks!
Best
Hm, try doing it from note input mode with the cursor on the top staff.
Jesper
doesn’t work for some reason
Could you share the file? You did keep holding down the alt/opt key until after pressing enter?

yes I did hold alt, and the little human figure highlights when I do
I think you didn’t manage to get the independent time signatures right. You have to create them on each staff.

Thanks but don’t really know what I didn’t wrong and will try again. I created two independent “X” open time signatures, each holding down alt
Try again with a new file. I managed to change yours.
