Continuous Beams across staves

Hi,

I am writing a piano score and I would like to have a continuous beam between the staves linking the right and left hand notes (using hemi-demi-semi notes). I am inputting the notes via midi keyboard and they are automatically entered into the Treble Clef - and I then use alt-N to bring the left hand notes down to the bottom stave, but this results in a separation from the beams.

(I took a couple of screenshots to illustrate what I mean - but there seems to be a loading problem)

Select the notes and just press M.

M and N cross staff down and up. Alt-M and Alt-N cut and paste the notes to the stave up or below. Lose “Alt” and I suspect you’ll get what you want.
