What I would like to do is create a free form rhythm that speeds up and slows down in a seemly random manner. Is there a Control Change Message that would enable me to control the tempo? If not, does Dorico allow for customized CC settings? It appears to support CC0 to CC126 controls values. If not, any suggestions?
You can use the Time track at the top of Play mode to create tempo changes, but you can’t make it random, I’m afraid.
