Hi, before I purchase Cubase 14 Pro I would simply like to know if it is possible to basically have 1 rotary knob, which controls any parameter which happens to be focused under the mouse.
For example, if I am viewing an EQ plugin, and my mouse is over a parameter - I would like my rotary knob to alter that value.
If my mouse is hovering over a track’s pan control - I would like the exact same rotary knob alter that value.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance.
No, you are right, I didn’t knew that, but just did a quick test, if you assign “Value at mouser pointer” to a knob in the MIDI Remote , you can change controls under the mouse cursor. Doesn’t really seem work with third party plugins, though, but with Cubase controls and plugins, it works. Not sure I’d prefer it over the mouse wheel personally, if I am over the control element with the mouse anyway.
