Hey guys, I updated to 14.0.20 and it all seems to be working ok aside from the control hub.
The ‘recent’ tab works just fine, but the factory templates under ‘recording, scoring, etc’ have all disappeared, and more importantly the ‘more’ tab doesn’t show my writing/mixing templates and only has ‘empty’ (as in start an empty project there).
When I check using the media browser all the factory templates are there with their respective categories, and my templates are all still there, the files still exist as they always did on my PC, it’s just they don’t appear in the control hub after updating.
Any idea how I can get the control hub to correctly show those factory templates and my own templates? The ‘recent’ tab still works ok.
The templates are already in the media bay, when I right click the folder and ‘rescan’, everything just flashes a bit but they still don’t appear in the control hub.
I tried removing them from the database and re-adding them too, still nothing.
I renamed the Project template folder and closed/re-opened cubase. It will create a new Project template folder. Then copy your templates from the one you renamed into the one that cubase created. Restart cubase and your templates should be there.
UPDATE: This only worked for a short time. Now its missing again
If you download and install the update without Steinberg Download Assistant this error occures because the latest mediabay Version 1.2.40 is not automatically installed.
Download and install the latest MediaBay_Installer_win64.zip and all the factory templates and all the user templates will be shown in the Cubase Hub.
