'control room meter' pops up - not wanted

:unamused: Any way to correct this? It’s very annoying.

Steps - open an existing project, highlight mixer screen, touch the orange line highlighting the faders with the cursor (even for an instant while moving the cursor), or roll the cursor across the right edge of any column in the mixer window (inserts, meter, etc.), and ‘control room/meter’ check box pops up, click on the mixer to remove the check box and background changes to desktop instead of Cubase background. To get back to Cubase background you must click on the ‘maximize/minimize’ window box on any screen or click the ‘close plugin’ check box on an open plugin GUI. When viewing the project screen and touching the right edge, ‘racks’ checkbox pops up, and clicking the project screen to remove the check box, background changes to desktop. To get back to Cubase background you must click on the ‘maximize/minimize’ window box on any screen or click the ‘close plugin’ check box. When adding any plugin, when the plugin GUI appears, the background changes to desktop and when closing the plugin the background goes back to Cubase background.
