Hi,
just once in a while, the view of the Control Room (in the Mix console window) seems to switch automatically from (my preferred view, or at least the one I am used to) insert tab to the main tab. I don’t know why, I cannot provoke it, I have yet to determine if it is anything that I do beforehand, it is not related to loading a new project or (re)starting Cubase. Just every other hour, or sometimes even day, when I look at the control room, suddenly it is back to the main tab.
It just irritates me, firstly because I have to switch back to the other tab, and then because I don’t know what causes it 
Happens to me also - no idea why, and I just put it down to ‘one of those things’. It’s an irritation for sure, but nothing that is going to bring my world crashing down
