does anyone know how to write smooth controller data with the line tool in the midi edit window. I am trying to create a long rise using the pitch bend.
Obviously my post was confusing. Is there a way to increase the resolution of the controller data. When I create this pitch bend it seems like it is kind of jerky and not smoothly transitioning the pitch. Almost like it was notched rather than a smooth transition.
Your Snap is problaby set to On.
So, in Key Editor, make sure to set Snap On/Off to OFF. (the button has to be grey colored)

May be easier to to edit the controller data in the track list, then you can
open Automation Panel (F6)
open Automation Preferences (bottom left)
change reduction level to taste
and you won’t need more, but less automation points
