Controlling external synth

Hi
Can I record an external keyboard’s audio ( korg triton ) while cubasis controls it via midi. The same principle as cubasis controlling another app via IAA or audiobus and recording the apps audio into a track at the same time. If yes, what hardware would you recommend that can handle midi and audio into an iPad 3 at the same time?

Hi,

yes that would work… for example with our UR44 interface you can route the MIDI channel to one of its MIDI OUTs and connect it to the Triton. The Audio outs you connect to the interface inputs and start recording.
