Convert Freezed track to New track?

Hi. Is it possible to convert a frozen track (I don’t mean unfreeze) into a new track with clips that reference the frozen media? Simply put, I want an easy way to consolidate all used material from a track into a single WAV file, keeping overlaps, while omitting the gaps.
Had someone thinking about it ?

Select the events on the track and use bounce?

Hi. Using bounce will cause you to lose overlaps. (It is good to keep overlaps to allow for minor editing changes in the future). Also, if you select a whole track with several gaps, the final WAV track will take up space for silent areas as if there were audio.
