Convert Groove Agent Jam mode into an arranger-style rhythm generator

Hello, how can I set up the Jam Mode in Groove Agent so that it functions as an arranger-style rhythm generator?
I’d like to be able to select a main pattern that plays automatically after an intro (on my keyboard, I can flexibly select the main pattern first and then press the intro button, whereupon the intro plays and then switches directly to the previously selected main beat (Main 3, for example).
Then, for example, I’d like to switch from the Main 1 beat to the Main 2 beat using the Fill in 2. My keyboard has an ‘Auto Fill In’ button, which causes it to switch immediately to the fill belonging to Main Beat 2, followed by the Main 2 part, WITHOUT me having to wait for the fill to play at the start of the next bar – on my keyboard, this plays IMMEDIATELY when the button is pressed and then switches to the Main part I have selected and pressed (2 in my example).
I would like to be able to play fills immediately, but for them to play through to the end of the bar before automatically switching to the main part I selected previously.
How could I achieve such scenarios with Groove Agent? The current Jam Mode does not seem to offer me enough flexibility to implement all these requirements in this way

Hi UdoBehm,

to make it short, the answer is “you can’t”. The Jam mode is based on “interactivity”, in live situations that means you can adjust the future way of working by clicking on Player pads while patterns are playing. What will happen next is defined by the “Jam State” in the Player Pad settings for each pad individually.

best regards

Gerrit

That’s too bad  Would like this to work…
