I recently bought a copy of Cubase Pro 10.5 and want to convert old ALL/ARR files to CBR. The Help Center says I can convert with a version of SX, (https://helpcenter.steinberg.de/hc/en-us/articles/115000075750-Converting-Cubase-VST-songs-ALL-ARR-into-CPR-format) and previous posts have suggested a license is backwards compatible with older versions. However, I just tried to install SX on a new computer (my existing will not allow an old version on the same PC) but I get an error message saying I don’t have a valid license. Has anyone tried to do this?
