I have created an expression map and it works great.
However, I was wondering if there is a simple way to convert key switches in an existing midi part to the expression map I have created. It looks like you can do it via recording the output of the midi-part as a loop back to capture the note expressions on a new track, but just wondering if there is a more straightforward method?
To my knowledge, no, and this is something I would really like to see as an enhancement in the future.

Absolutely, it would be great to have this as a feature. I am surprised it’s not there as it would seems such an intuitive thing someone would want to do. In my instance, I use Ample Sound, which I drag/drop the midi into a track, and often do fine tuning on the track relating to key switches. It would be a lot nicer to make those changes via an expression map, instead of fiddling around with the piano roll.
