Converting VST MIDI tracks to audio

I am trying to figure out how to convert a VST plugin instrument and its associated MIDI track to an audio track. I’s sure it is in the manual (I have looked but couldn’t find it). Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

-Export audio mixdown
-record from busses.

The Steinberg Channel on youtube - another source of helpful information.

Aloha d,
I too use the export function because there is the option
to have what is exported to appear back in the Project Window
as an audio track.

Here is how:

In the Export dialog box, (near the bottom) go to the ‘Import into Project’ Pane
and tick ‘audio track’.

Now any tracks you export will appear as audio tracks and you can then
mute/delete the original MIDI/Instrument tracks.

I mute and hold on to them in case they are needed later for changes.

HTH (hope this helps)

BTW
If this does not work for you, check the manual
on: ‘Freezing’ tracks.

Than;ks for the insight. Very much appreciated. I’m gonna expand my question a little. My VST drum machine is stereo. Is the stereo information retained when the MIDI tracks are converted to audio?

Quite obviously…
If you had simply spent 8:08 minutes and followed alexis’ link, you could even have seen that…
