If one puts an long reverb on a pingpong delay it sounds cool. Maybe one does not use these effects often but its fun to see what is possible. To side-chain a compressor to a reverb on vocals is also interesting, the reverb is only audible between the words in the song. Its like a pre-delay but timed to the lyrics in a nice way.
