I imported from Finale a percussion staff which was imported into a standard Drum Set . Of course the original sound is anymore not adequate. So I created a Dharma Percussion Set library, and imported it successfully into my song. It is there empty.
Then started the problem, I f I copy paste from the original Drum set to the Dharma set the sounds are not there and part of the notes are not rightly set.

I tried but the problem is that I didn’t succeed to transform my 5-line staves into 1-line as suggested. Whathever I tried in the Layout options and in the Drum Kit EDIT didn’t transform
my 5-lines staves into 1-line.
I tried to input manually the notes in the Dharma kit and that worked, but of course I do not wish to restart all the notation.
Copiying Percussion sets was already didfficult in FINALE, so I hoped it would be simpler in Dorico, but right now I can’t

I finally succeeded importing my old Drum Set from Finale into the new ‘Dharma Drum Set’ of Dorico 6.1

THey are right but I had to adapt them to Dorico 6.1
So here is how I did: When you import a percussion kit into an existing project, you can’t automatically convert an existing kit to assume the new kit definition, I’m afraid, so you’ll have a bit of manual copying and pasting to do.
Create a new single player – ATTENTION Just an ‘Empty hand player’ DO NOT create a Drum set- and click Import Kit in the instrument picker, the .doricolib file containing your exported kit
Print your old drum set and the new one, you shall need it to identify the instruments
CTRL SHIFT L opens the Layout Page / PLAYERS / PERCUSSION Click the two players, and set both to single-line appearance
Copy and paste the material from the instruments in your existing kit to the corresponding instruments in the new kit: select the first note in each instrument and use EDIT/ Select to End of Flow to quickly select the remainder, then use Alt+click to copy that material to the corresponding instrument in the new kit.. Or Put yourself to the beginning of the corresponding new instrument. Selecting and finding the corresponding instruments needs attention, that is why you have to print them before
Once you have done this, delete the original single player with the original kit.
