copy and pasting issue

when hi lighting a region or group of notes, and copying and pasting said notes, the playhead doesn’t jump forward by the selection amount, usually a bar or two, so I have to scroll forward, enter the bar number the playhead should be at for the paste.

Say I want to loop a two bar phrase over a slow rise in volume MIDI cc or something like that.

I just want to hi light those notes and copy and paste them without having to move the playhead myself.

is there a way to make that happen?

Hi,

You can use Duplicate function to avoid the necesyty of Playhead moves.

Or you can make a Macro:

  • Paste
  • Locate Selection End.
