Copy CC From one Track to Another

I’m quite new to Cubase, coming from Pro Tools, and not sure if there is another more correct way to do this, but I thought I’d share what I did because I could not find a good answer to how to do it.

I created a preset in the Logical Editor, which only does: type → equals → controller, action: select. Then I created a macro in the key editor section which runs my logical editor preset for “Select CC only” → copy. Then I assigned that to option-C. So Now I can run the macro with a keybind and just copy the CC data. Please let me know if there was already a better way to do this, because I could not do it very quickly with the other methods I found!

The first step is to copy the midi part to the new track (e.g. by Alt/Opt-dragging it).
Then you delete everything but CCs.

This would also be also done via the Logical Editor. Simply select the newly created part and apply the preset.

The action on the bottom must be set to “Delete”.

Hi Alexander. I think your method is already fine! Thanks for sharing.
