Is there a way to copy and transfer instrument filters from one layout to another?

There isn’t, no. Do you have lots of layouts with multiple instruments? You could start by using Duplicate Layout, which creates an exact copy of an existing layout, including its instrument filters.

I usually start a new layout from another, duplicating it, but just this time I forgot… 
Maybe this could be another little suggestion for the wish list…
