Hello I would like to ask your help : Let’s say I have a three-part vocal ( three individual tracks )
Is there any way to copy lyrics from a track to other tracks ? Typing lyrics three or more times takes long time .
Thank you in advance

Hi, I presume you mean in the score editor and not the new Omnivocal lyric system.
I’m not aware of any easy way to do this with the current score editor.
There is a technique whereby you can put all your lyrics in an editor outside of Cubase and copy them to the clipboard. Then you enter lyrics and keep hitting paste and it puts each of them in - but you still have to repeat that on all notes and have it broken properly into syllables before you paste.
I create lots of vocal scores and I work by creating a reference track with the notes and lyrics for a song first. Then when you copy the midi part to each of the singing voices the lyrics go with it. I then alter the notes for each part.
This of course does not help if you have rhythmical changes which I have to alter by hand, but overall it saves lots of typing.
You can also use shared midi parts if you have the same phrase sung by multiple voices and if you change a note/lyric later it will automatically change in multiples places.
Hi,
I expect, you are talking about the OmniVocal.
You can paste the whole text into the 1st MIDI Note. It becomes distributed to the other notes.
There is a known issue, this doesn’t work on Mac at this moment (Cubase 15.0.5).
Hi
Thank you very much for your answer .
It’s not about Omnivocal , it’s about three normal ( sometimes four ) backgruond vocal tracks .
1 Soprano
2 Alto
3 Bass
I typed lyrics of Soprano in score editor .
Is there any way to copy lyrics in score editor from Soprano track to Alto and Bass etc.tracks ?
It takes a long time to type lyrics one by one .
Thank you in advance
