Copy music including (!) figured bass?

Hi together,

I’m completely new to Dorico, coming - like many here, I guess - from Finale.

I just wanted to copy some measures with figured bass, but the figured bass is only selected and copied when I select a single bar. As soon as I select several measures to copy, the figured bass is deselected and hence also not copied:

Any solution to this…?

Best wishes
Yuval

Here is how it looks like with a single measure selected - the figured bass is included in my selection:

Have you tried copying using the system track (Steinberg)? That should allow you to copy more than one measure of figured bass.

Isn’t the system track only valid for all staffs together? I just want to copy the staff at the bottom:

Select just the player with the figured bass (select the staff, press W) and copy from there.

The figured bass is also not shown there:

No doubt a very stupid, unnecessary question: in this last basso part, did you enable figured bass in Layout Options?

No, not at all a stupid, unnecessary question, I didn’t! But it still doesn’t solve the problem: when I select several bars, the figures are not included in the selection:

Use the system track in the part. That will select the figured bass, but not the rest of the staves, if I’m not mistaken.

Great! That worked!! Thank you all so much for your help!

The figured bass, quite like chords, is not really a staff attached information. It can be shown in as many staves as you wish, by alt-clicking the players in Setup mode and setting them to show chords/figured bass. So in the Full score layout, you could use the system track to select the whole visible content of all staves, filter the figured bass, you would be left with only the selection of the figured bass (wherever it’s shown)
Dorico does not select hidden stuff.
