Copy/paste bug?

I wanted to copy all notes of the bass staff into another staff. After I chosen all notes of the staff and selected them, I pasted this selection to the staff below. But there was no note copied, only the pedal-signs. Whats going on there? See the attached screenshots.

Now I found the item “Copy selection to staff below”. This worked, but the layout was quite different from the orginal staff. See the third screenshot.

This looks like a limitation of how copy/paste currently deals with pedal lines, as it tries to keep them at the correct stave within an instrument. We will look at improving this in future. In the mean time you should get better results by deselecting the pedal lines before copying the notes, then copy the pedal lines separately afterwards.
