I’m trying to copy a section of music at the beginning of a piece and paste it into another measure later on in the piece, but the notes are pasting into the wrong instruments. This is happening whether I try to copy 2 instruments at a time or 6-7 instruments. When I copy/paste one instrument at a time, it works fine. Is there a better way to do this?
Are the instruments you’re copying adjacent in the score, or are there gaps of one or more instruments between them? Likewise, are you trying to paste into two adjacent instruments? Perhaps if you attach your project (zip it up first) and a description of the source and destination passages, I might be able to help. Sorry you’re having problems!
Yes the instruments were adjacent, but oddly enough I can no longer recreate the problem. Somehow upon closing and reopening the project, the problem has been solved!
